This document lists all errors you may encounter when uploading products to TikTok Shop.

Error Code: 1000

Please add shipping template

What has happened?

TikTok Shop requires you to set up the shipping templates and warehouses before you upload products.

What is next?

Please set up the shipping templates and warehouses in the TikTok Shop seller center and try again. Here are the guidelines for you.

Error Code: 1002

Missing images

What has happened?

TikTok Shop requires at least one product image for the product.

What is next?

Please add an image to the product in your online store and try it again later. Sometimes, AfterShip Feed needs time to pull the updates from your online store. It usually just takes about 15 minutes for the changes to sync.

Error Code: 1003

You can upload a maximum of 100 products each day.

What has happened?

To assist new sellers with order fulfilment, all new shops (both individual and corporate) on TikTok shop will be subject to a probation period that limits the number of daily orders sellers can accept. Please get more detail from TikTok Shop policies.

What is next?

Please sync remain products next day or follow TikTok Shop policy to update the limit.

Error Code: 1004

Logistics service unreachable

What has happened?

TikTok Shop says your warehouses have something wrong.

What is next?

Please update your default warehouse and try it again later.

Error Code: 1005

Missing product description

What has happened?
TikTok Shop requires the product to have a description.

What is next?

Please add it in your online store and try it again later. Sometimes, AfterShip Feed needs time to pull the updates from your online store.
Don't worry, just wait about 15 minutes.

If you still encounter an error after adding a description, please contact our customer service.

Error Code: 1006

Missing product identifier code

What has happened?
For some categories, TikTok Shop requires you to input GINT/UPC/EAN/ISBN. And it should match the format below:
EAN must be 8, 13, or 14 digits
GTIN must be 14 digits
ISBN must be 13 digits
UPC must be 12 digits.


What is next?

Please make sure the TikTok Shop category you selected is expected.If yes,please add it in eCommerce or in Feed Admin.

Follow the TikTok Shop guideline, you can't update the GTIN after you set up it.

Error Code: 1007

Product description incorrect

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product description may contain incorrect information or empty. Please edit it on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1008

Inventory exceed limit

Reason: TikTok

Solution:The inventory of the SKU must be between [0-999999], Please update it on your online store.

Error Code: 1009

Shipping template

Product description empty or incorrect

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product description may contain incorrect information or empty. Please edit it on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1011

Weight exceed limit

Reason: TikTok

Solution:The product's weight cannot exceed 20 kg. Please modify it on eCommerce or in the Feed admin and try again.

Error Code: 1012

Missing warehouse setting

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Warehouses setting is required on TikTok. Please add it on the TikTok Seller Center and try again.

Transform images

Error Code: 1014

System Error

Solution:There is something wrong with our system. Contact our customer support for more assistance.

Product not available

Reason: TikTok

Solution:product on TikTok has been deactivated or deleted. Please check on TikTok and try again later.

Error Code: 1016

Option name exceed limit

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Variant's option name(such as Size/Color) cannot exceed 35, Please edit it on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1017

Product identifier code duplicated

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product identifier code(GINT/UPC/EAN/ISBN) can not be the same between different variants, please modify them on eCommerce or on Feed Admin

Error Code: 1018

Inventory exceed limit

Reason: TikTok

Solution:SKU inventory should not exceed 999999,Please modify on eCommerce

Error Code: 1019

Missing price

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Price and compare_at_price cannot both be empty, Please mofify it on eCommerce

Error Code: 1020

Image file invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Only JPG, JPEG and PNG formats are supported with a minimum of 300 300 pixels, a maximum of 20000 20000 pixels and a maximum file size of 5MB. Please try to modify the images of products or the images in product descriptions on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1021

Product name invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:The product name cannot be less than 15 characters or more than 255 characters. Please edit it on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1022

SKU name exceed limit

Reason: TikTok

Solution:SKU name cannot exceed 50 characters.Please edit it on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1023

Price invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:SKU price is too expensive or too cheap, please modify on eCommerce

Error Code: 1024

Upload file invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Only PDF and MP4 file formats are supported for uploads. Please modify it on eCommerce or on the Feed Admin and try again.

Error Code: 1025

Product identifier code

Reason: TikTok

Solution: Product's unique identifier is not in the correct format. EAN must be 8, 13, or 14 digits; GTIN must be 14 digits; ISBN must be 13 digits; and UPC must be 12 digits. Please modify the variant barcode length on eCommerce or in Feed Admin to make it valid.

Error Code: 1026

Product not found on TikTok

Reason: TikTok

Solution: Proudct is not found on TikTok,please contact customer service for more assistance.

Error Code: 1027

Image size exceed limit

Reason: TikTok

Solution: The image doesn't meet the requirements. Only JPG, JPEG and PNG formats are supported with a minimum of 300 300 pixels, a maximum of 20000 20000 pixels and a maximum file size of 5MB. Please try to modify the images of products or the images in product descriptions on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1028

SKU invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Please contact customer service for more assistance.

Error Code: 1029

Pirce invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:SKU price is too expensive or too cheap, please modify on eCommerce

Error Code: 1030

product name invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:The product name cannot be less than 15 characters or more than 255 characters. Please edit it on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1031

Currency not match

Reason: TikTok

Solution:The currency of variant compare_at_price is not consistent with the store currency. Please modify it on eCcommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1032

Missing product identifier code

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product identifier code(GINT/UPC/EAN/ISBN) is required on TikTok, Please add it on eCommerce or on Feed Admin

Error Code: 1033

SKU name exceed limit

Reason: TikTok

Solution:SKU name cannot exceed 50 characters.Please edit it on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1034

Image size invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Only JPG, JPEG and PNG formats are supported with a minimum of 300 300 pixels, a maximum of 20000 20000 pixels and a maximum file size of 5MB. Please try to modify the images of products or the images in product descriptions on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1036

Product package weight exceed limit

Reason: TikTok

Solution:The product's weight cannot exceed 100 kg or 220lb. Please modify it on your eCommerce or in the Feed admin and try again.

Error Code: 1038

Missing size chart

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product size chart is required on TikTok, please add it on Feed Admin

Error Code: 1039

GTIN code has been added and cannot be modified

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Identifier code has already synced to TikTok, and cannot modify it

Error Code: 1040

Too many SKUS

Reason: TikTok

Solution:A single product cannot have more than 100 different SKUs

Error Code: 1041

Upload images timeout

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Upload images to TikTok timeout when syncing product, it may depends on your network, please try again later.

Error Code: 1060

Product identifier code invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product identifier code(GINT/UPC/EAN/ISBN) can only be digits,please modify them on eCommerce or on Feed Admin

Error Code: 1061

Product identifier code invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product identifier code(GINT/UPC/EAN/ISBN) can only be digits,please modify them on eCommerce or on Feed Admin

Error Code: 1037

GTIN code has been added and cannot be modified

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Identifier code has already synced to TikTok, and cannot modify it

Error Code: 1042

Category unavailable

Reason: TikTok

Solution:The category associated with this product has been prohibited from TikTok. Follow steps to mapping again on Feed Admin:
Select "Feed center", and click "Category mapping" table
Find the TikTok Shop category which this product associated with, click "Edit" button
In the "Edit category mapping" page,search this product, and click "Remove"
Back to "Feed center"->"Category mapping" page, and mapping again

Error Code: 1043

Product id not exist

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product id is not exists on TikTok, please contact customer service for more assistance.

Error Code: 1045

Too many SKUs

Reason: TikTok

Solution:A single product cannot have more than 100 different SKUs

Error Code: 1046

Description error

Reason: TikTok

Solution: Brief rules:

Must conform to html syntax
Currently only supports <p><img><ul><li> tags
Tags cannot be nested
Up to 30 images.
This field character limit needs to be within 10000 characters.
It is recommended to avoid using Chinese because the copy will be displayed to local users.
The following rich formats will not cause liisting product error but will get lost on TikKTok Shop:

Bold
Underline
Italics
Fonts
Font size
Font color
Text alignment(center/right/left)
Line height/word spacing
Serial number
Emoji

Thus, we suggest checking the product description after your products are synced to the TiikTok Shop and making the required modifications.

Error Code: 1048

Warehouse is invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Warehouses may be set error on TikTok. Please eidt it on the TikTok Seller Center and try again.

Error Code: 1049

Missing images

Reason: Feed

Solution:Request TikTok with a error image_data missing

Error Code: 1050

Descirption contains non-local language

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Ecommerce product description contains non-local language, please modify it on you eCommerce store and try again.

Error Code: 1051

Category rule not found

Reason: Feed

Solution:Please contanct Feed customer service for more assistance.

Error Code: 1052

Not enough option values

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Your variants have not enough opiton values,please edit them on your eCommerce store and try again.

Error Code: 1053

Missing price

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Price and compare_at_price cannot both be empty, Please mofify it on eCommerce

Error Code: 1054

Image invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product images is invalid,please modify your product main images or description images on your eCommerce store and try again.

Error Code: 1055

No effective delivery options

Reason: TikTok

Solution:No effective delivery options on your TikTok shop, please edit it on TikTok seller center and try again later.

Error Code: 1062

Product identifier code invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product identifier code(GINT/UPC/EAN/ISBN) can only be digits,please modify them on eCommerce or on Feed Admin

Error Code: 1056

Description contains Chinese characters

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Product description contains Chinese characters ,please edit it on eCommerce and try again later.

Error Code: 1057

Price zero

Reason: TikTok

Solution:Variant price should not be 0,please edit it on you eCommerce store and try again.

Error Code: 1058

Description contains Chinese characters

Reason: TikTok

Error Code: 1059

Product name invalid

Reason: TikTok

Solution:The product name cannot be less than 15 characters or more than 255 characters. Please edit it on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1063

Product Name:Incomplete Information,Size Chart:Inconsistent Size Chart

Reason: TikTok

Solution:TikTok review failed for this proudct, please try to change product's name or size chart

Error Code: 1064

SKU name exceed limit

Error Code: 9999

System Error

Solution:Feed service is out of service, please contact our support.

Image size too small

Reason: eCommerce

Solution:The width and length of product image must be at least 300:300, please modify it on eCommerce and try again.

Error Code: 1068

Image aspect ratio error

Reason: eCommerce

Solution:Only JPG, JPEG and PNG formats are supported with a minimum of 300 300 pixels, a maximum of 20000 20000 pixels and a maximum file size of 5MB. Please try to modify the images of products or the images in product descriptions on eCommerce and try again.

Access token is expired, please refresh it

Reason: TikTok Shop Authorization Expired

Sorry, the TikTok Shop shop is on a trial period, seller Trial Period and maximum limit of product uploading each day is 100.

This is a limitation of TikTok Shop. Your store is currently in a trial period. For more specific information, you can inquire with the official personnel of TikTok Shop.

Sale properties should include all SKU properties

Please do not directly manage the options of products in TikTok, as this will result in the synchronization failure of eCommerce variants. AfterShip Feed recommends managing options in the ecommerce platform and synchronizing variants to TikTok. For any erroneous variants that have already been generated, please contact support for assistance with deletion.
