How to Set Product Size and Weight for TikTok Shop

TikTok Shop mandates the specification of size and weight for certain product types, a requirement not shared by platforms such as BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento-2, and Shopify.
To ensure successful product synchronization on TikTok Shop from AfterShip Feed, you must specify the size and weight of your products you are syncing to TikTok Shop.
You can manage size and weight details in two ways
Manually: Individual or bulk edit
If you are manually syncing your products to TikTok Shop.
Go to Product syncing in the AfterShip Feed admin
Under the Import from {{eCommerce platform}}, click Edit to set the weight, length, width, and height of the products you want to sync to TikTok Shop
To bulk-edit size and weight information of products under the same category, select the products and click Bulk edit product info and fill in the required information. The updated information will be applied to all the products selected
Automatically
To automatically add product size and weight details to your products before syncing them to TikTok Shop, you can configure the product mapping settings as such.
As part of AfterShip Feed’s Category templates feature you can set up accurate shipping weight (package weight plus wrapping, packaging, and boxing) and package dimensions about your products when adding or syncing products to TikTok Shop. This way, the information added to the template will be auto-applied to the products selected under that specific template.

TikTok Shop calculates shipping costs based on the product's height, length, and width. Providing accurate values is essential to ensure correct shipping cost calculations.
We strongly recommend verifying and updating the size and weight information in TikTok Shop Seller Center once your products have been synchronized with TikTok Shop.
