Sync Tracking Numbers to TikTok Shop

Overview



If you're experiencing issues with syncing eCommerce platform orders' tracking information to your TikTok Shop store, there could be a couple of reasons.

When fulfilling orders outside of TikTok (Shipped by Seller), you can choose your own logistics service provider (carrier). You must, however, meet the following criteria:

The logistics service provider must be from the approved list of TikTok Shop's Integrated Carriers.
You must upload valid traceable tracking ID to the Seller Center for all dispatched orders.

To ensure your tracking numbers are synced to TikTok Shop, follow these steps:

Step 1: Check if your tracking information is valid

Step 2: Set up carrier mapping on AfterShip Feed

Step 1: Check if your tracking numbers and carrier are valid



Upon entering the tracking number (Tracking ID on TikTok Shop) into the Seller Center Manage Orders Panel, the matching carrier should appear in the shipping provider list.

Go to Manage Orders in the TikTok Shop admin
Click Add tracking info to add tracking information to orders ready to be shipped
In the popup, add Tracking ID. A matching carrier based on the tracking number format will appear in the shipping provider list
Select the corresponding carrier from the list and click Confirm package(s)

If the tracking number is valid, the order status will change to Ready to ship
If the tracking number is not valid, an error message will display



To check if your carrier is valid, you can also find all approved TikTok Shop Integrated Carriers for your store’s region in the shipping provider list.

Step 2: Set up carrier mapping on AfterShip Feed



Carrier mapping is the process of linking each carrier used by your store to its corresponding logistics provider on TikTok Shop. This allows you to automatically sync tracking information between both platforms without any manual intervention required.

The shipping service names can vary across platforms. To reduce mismatches, we provide a carrier name mapping tool to help match carriers so TikTok Shop orders can be shipped smoothly. You can map the names of the carriers you use on your eCommerce platform to the corresponding shipping provider on TikTok Shop.

Note: Different carriers have different tracking number formats. To sync orders successfully, make sure your tracking numbers match the format of the corresponding shipping provider on TikTok Shop.

To set up carrier name mapping,

Go to Settings > Channel settings > Fulfillment sync in the AfterShip Feed admin
Select the sales channel for which you are undertaking the carrier mapping from above
Click + Add mapping
Add your store carrier in the field defined and in the second field add the name of the corresponding carrier on TikTok Shop



If you’ve had any orders that failed to sync, the corresponding carriers will automatically appear in the carrier name list. You can also enter carrier names manually.
