Customize Shipping Methods in Shopify Orders

You can use the Shipping Method Mapping feature in AfterShip Feed to customize the shipping options displayed on your Shopify order. This feature allows you to define custom rules to map the TikTok Shop shipping options to the ones you use on your Shopify Store in order to reduce errors in order fulfillment.

Go to Settings > Order sync > Shipping method mapping in the AfterShip Feed admin
Click on + Add shipping method mapping
Select the shipping option offered by TikTok Shop
a. Shipped by platform: This indicates that the order fulfillment and tracking will be handled by TikTok Shop
b. Shipped by seller: This indicates that you'll be fulfilling the orders outside of TikTok Shop with your preferred carriers
Select the TikTok Shop shipping method based on the shipping option selected
Select the Shopify shipping method configured on your store to map against the TikTok Shop shipping method selected by you
Any shipping method names that are not in your custom mapping rules will fallback to the below supported shipping method mapping rules.
Sync TikTok Shop shipping method to eCommerce platform: The TikTok Shop shipping method will be synced to your eCommerce platform
Map TikTok Shop shipping method to a single Shopify method: You can select a single Shopify shipping method to which all the TikTok Shop shipping method(s) which are not covered under the mapping rules with be automatically synced
Example: I want all my TikTok orders show a specific shipping method as "Standard" on Shopify
To ensure that all your TikTok orders show a specific shipping method as "Standard" on Shopify, you can follow these steps:
Navigate to the Settings tab in the AfterShip Feed admin
Click Order sync, scroll down to the Shipping method mapping section
Leave Custom mapping blank and change Default mapping to Map TikTok Shop shipping method to a single Shopify method
Select Standard shipping method from the dropdown
The dropdown will show the shipping method configured in your Shopify admin. You can change or update your Shopify shipping options anytime from Shopify Settings > Shipping and delivery.
Once you have completed these steps, all your upcoming TikTok orders should show "Standard" as the shipping method on Shopify. This will help you keep track of your TikTok orders easily and differentiate them from other orders placed on your Shopify store.
