How to Resolve Inconsistent Currency Issue

Plans: All plans Platforms: All platforms

After connecting your eCommerce store with TikTok Shop, AfterShip Feed (Feed For TikTok Shop) checks if your eCommerce store has the same currency as configured in your TikTok Shop.

For example, if your TikTok Shop store is in United Kingdom region and then the currency is set to Great Britain Pound (GBP), your eCommerce store should also support GBP currency to sync your eCommerce store products to the TikTok Shop store successfully.

If your eCommerce store does not support GBP currency, you will get the following alert.

For eCommerce stores built with WooCommerce, the aforementioned alert is displayed before AfterShip Feed verifies the currency setting on your WooCommerce store.

The time it takes for AfterShip Feed to verify the currency settings depends on your store's performance. All you need to do is reload the AfterShip Feed admin at a later time to resolve the issue.

How to resolve it

Please check your eCommerce store currency is set to that of your TikTok Shop.

Once your eCommerce store's currency is updated, AfterShip Feed will sync the setting within 1 hour and you can reinstall the eCommerce app to trigger it immediately.

If have a WooCommerce store, and the currency is correct, please reload the Feed page later. As AfterShip Feed is pulling the currency settings from your WooCommerce store. If it takes more than 1 hour, please contact us, your store may have something wrong.

If you have a Shopify store and your store supports multiple currencies, please upgrade your plan to Pro Plan.
